Only a small percentage of lawyers in the state of Texas are board-certified as criminal law specialists and in the private practice of criminal law. Wes Ball and Don Hase are both board-certified as specialists in criminal law. Wes Ball has been board-certified as a specialist in Criminal Law since 1985. Don Hase has been a board-certified specialist in Criminal Law since 1986. Every five years, Mr. Ball and Mr. Hase have gone through the process of being recertified under the specialization rules. Our practice is limited to criminal defense matters. For more information on what it means to be board-certified, see the official website of the Texas Board of Legal Specialization
